DHL international express price

DHL's volumetric weight calculation formula is: length (cm) × width (cm) × height (cm) / 5000. If the volumetric weight of a single piece of goods is greater than its actual weight, the charge will be based on the volumetric weight of the single piece, and the larger of the two will be adopted.

DHL International Express Surcharge

Remote Area Surcharge: Shipments to remote areas (excluding the United States) are subject to a remote area surcharge, with the standard being: 4 yuan per kilogram, with a minimum charge of 220 yuan per shipment. The remote area surcharge is subject to a fuel surcharge.

Textile fees: According to the latest regulations of the Hong Kong Trade Department in 2011, only shipments to the United States require an import license, with an additional fee of 50 yuan per shipment (textiles to Nigeria are not accepted).

Fuel surcharge: The general quotation already includes fuel (Note: The fuel surcharge will vary every month. For details, please refer to the DHL official website. Fluctuations in the fuel surcharge will directly cause corresponding fluctuations in the price.)

The calculation method for the over-length and over-weight surcharge is as follows

For the same shipment (one DHL waybill), if one or more pieces have a length on one side exceeding 120CM or an actual weight exceeding 70KG, HKDHL will charge an overlength fee of 900 yuan per piece. In addition, for the fuel surcharge (for example, if there are 3 pieces in the same shipment with actual weights of 50kg, 80kg, and 200kg, and dimensions of 1050130cm, 50100125cm, and 100150150cm respectively, DHL will only charge HKD200 once).

Reference validity period

The calculation for the package starts from the time it is delivered to the DHL warehouse. The reference normal delivery time is 2-7 working days (this time frame is from when the shipment is logged online until the recipient receives it), excluding special circumstances! The delivery time is closely related to the customs clearance time of each destination and flight arrangements.

Compensation standards

For express items with insufficient quantity, out-of-stock, or damaged items, such as when the recipient receives an express item with inconsistent weight, quantity, number of pieces, or a damaged express item, the recipient is requested to report the loss or damage to the destination DHL within 24 hours of receiving the package. And within 7 working days, provide our company with the filing number registered locally by the recipient and the accident certificate, so as to investigate and claim compensation from DHL. After verification by DHL, the maximum compensation shall be the exemption of freight and the declared value of the package, with a maximum of no more than 100 USD. For partial damage or loss, compensation shall be made according to the percentage of the actual lost quantity in the total quantity, but the maximum compensation shall not exceed 100 USD. Regarding the loss of express items caused by customs inspection, when the express items pass through customs, customs may open the package for inspection, which may lead to the loss of the package, the loss of all or part of the items in the package, or seizure by customs. Our company shall not bear any liability arising therefrom.

Description of Items 

When declaring the product name, you need to fill in the actual product name and quantity. Declarations as gifts or samples are not accepted.。
Declared value

DHL has no requirements for the declared value. Customers can decide the amount to fill in by themselves. It is recommended to declare according to the actual declared value of the goods to avoid high tariffs and fines.

Recipient's address

DHL does not accept P.O. Box addresses. It is mandatory to provide the recipient's phone number. The above information filled in must be in English; other languages are not accepted.       .

Special Notes:

For goods sent to Nigeria, the weight of a single piece must not exceed 50KG, and the weight of a single shipment must not exceed 50KG. It is recommended to split into multiple shipments, with each shipment weighing no more than 50KG.

 For express items sent to Angola, the weight of a single piece must not exceed 50KG, and the weight of a single consignment must not exceed 250KG.

The weight of a single item sent to Tunisia must not exceed 30KG, and the weight of a single consignment must not exceed 40KG;

The weight of a single item sent to Tunisia must not exceed 30KG, and the weight of a single shipment must not exceed 40KG;

For express items sent to Algeria, each piece must not exceed 40KG;

Shipments to Ecuador, Lebanon, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Russia require a stamped original invoice for customs clearance.
